Marco Bezzecchi surprised the motorcycle world by claiming a shocking pole position with his Aprilia machine, just 0.016 seconds ahead of Alex Márquez. Championship leader Marc Márquez, who dominated all previous practice sessions, crashed in the final corner and had to settle for fourth place.
