Volleyball summer begins: 18 teams fight for VNL crown with Czech premiere
Atlas Arena in Polish Łódź will become the venue for the most competitive Women's Volleyball Nations League in history from June 4 to July 27. The prestigious tournament expands for the first time from the traditional sixteen to a total of eighteen teams, with the greatest attention of Czech fans focused on our national team's debut. The Czech Republic earned its participation through triumph in the 2024 Challenger Cup and will now attempt to compete among the world's volleyball elite. Joining them in their return to VNL is Belgium as the highest-ranked team according to the FIVB rankings, which secured the second available position. This year's format brings fundamental changes compared to previous editions. The preliminary phase will take place in three weekly blocks between June 4-8, June 18-22, and July 9-13.
