The Miami Grand Prix, one of the newest and most attractive stops on the F1 calendar, promises an exciting battle between the dominant Max Verstappen and an increasingly stronger McLaren team. Saturday's qualifying confirmed the excellent form of reigning world champion Max Verstappen, who secured pole position ahead of McLaren's Lando Norris. The surprise of the day is the third position of young talent Kimi Antonelli, who dominated Friday's sprint qualifying. Verstappen's main challenger this season, Oscar Piastri in the second McLaren, finished only fourth. Qualifying took place 15 minutes later than originally planned after the delayed sprint, but on a dry track.
