Derrick "The Black Beast" Lewis: Experience and Raw Power

Derrick Lewis (ranked #9) brings legendary knockout power and rich experience to the cage. The 40-year-old veteran holds the record for most KOs in UFC heavyweight history and debuted in the organization in 2014. The former title challenger has a distinguished career, and of his last 10 fights, only one went to the scorecards - Lewis simply doesn't play for time.

"I know everyone's writing me off because of my age, but my fists speak a different language," warns "The Black Beast." Lewis comes into the fight with a clear plan: end the bout before it heats up.

His recent fights show he still has dynamite in his hands - three of his last five bouts ended in the first round. The question remains whether he can hit the young Brazilian before he gets tired.

Tallison "Bulldozer" Teixeira: Young Undefeated Beast

Tallison Teixeira (ranked #14) brings a perfect record and terrifying efficiency to Nashville. The 25-year-old talent has an undefeated record of 8-0 with his professional debut in 2021. Seven wins came via KO/TKO - all in the first round. He debuted in UFC with a knockout in 35 seconds against Justin Tafa.

"When Lewis debuted in UFC, I was still in high school. Now I'm going to send him into retirement," the Brazilian talent confidently declares. Teixeira's longest fight lasted just 4:40 minutes - he usually eliminates his opponents within the first few minutes.

His UFC debut in February 2025 shocked the world when he demolished Justin Tafa in just 35 seconds. Can he extend his series of lightning knockouts against one of the most experienced heavyweights?

Co-Main Event: Kattar vs. Garcia

The co-main event of the evening features two dynamic featherweights. Calvin Kattar (ranked #15) is a fan favorite known for technically clean boxing. The division veteran with dangerous strikes returns after a series of tough fights.

Steve "Mean Machine" Garcia represents a rising star with an aggressive style. He has a four-fight winning streak behind him and a chance to break into the TOP 15 rankings.

Main Event Analysis

All statistics point to one fact - this fight probably won't go to the scorecards. Lewis relies on experience and timing and needs to land before he gets tired. Teixeira is younger, faster, and more explosive - he has never fought longer than one round.

Odds for a first-round finish are around 1.90 - bookmakers expect a quick ending. The first three minutes will be critical - if Lewis survives the initial onslaught, the chances even out.
