The Women's Super League 2025 kicks off on May 16th and a total battlefield awaits! York Valkyrie are preparing for their third consecutive title, but the competition this year is more fierce than ever before.

What to expect in the 2025 season? 14 rounds of full action from May to September, historic attendance records as last year's final rewrote the record books (and this year will be even bigger), plus new blood in the league - Leigh Leopards have been promoted after a dominant season in the Championship and are hungry for success.

York Valkyrie became the first team to successfully defend their title when they defeated St Helens in last year's final. Coach Lindsay Anfield is now aiming for a golden hat-trick with her team. But Wigan Warriors, Leeds Rhinos, and other teams are already sharpening their teeth for the throne.

Don't forget to follow the key dates: League start on May 16th (York Valkyrie vs. Wigan Warriors), Play-off semi-finals on September 21st, Grand Final on October 5th, and the Promotion/relegation battle on October 5th (last team in Super League against Championship winner).
