On Saturday, May 17, 2025, 1. FC Slovácko will face FK Dukla Praha in the 34th round of the Chance Liga. The duel between teams with completely different current forms promises an interesting confrontation.

  1. FC Slovácko haven't scored a single goal in the second consecutive game on the last Chance Liga matchday against Teplice and went goalless in six of the last nine league games. Slovácko have already played 16 goalless games this season, with only their first season (1995-96 as Slovácká Slavia Uherské Hradiště) having as many. The home team is thus going through a significant scoring crisis.

FK Dukla Praha have won their second Chance Liga game in a row on the last matchday against Mladá Boleslav, for the first time since October 2018. If Dukla manage to beat Slovácko as well, they will draw level with their two longest streaks of three consecutive games won in April 2012 and between November 2013 and February 2014. The Prague team is thus experiencing an unusually positive period.

  1. FC Slovácko remained goalless in the last Chance Liga clash against Teplice, although they fired nine shots and collected an Expected Goals (xG) value of 1.0. In this league season, only České Budějovice (-14.3) have a more negative xG difference than Slovácko (-9.8). This statistic indicates the significant inefficiency of the Moravian team in finishing.

FK Dukla Praha have scored at least two goals in four consecutive matches and recorded their joint-longest such streak in the Chance Liga along with August/September 2017. Only Sparta, Slavia (9 each), and Plzeň (6) have recorded longer runs with multiple goals scored in this Chance Liga season (Jablonec also 4). The Prague side thus excels in offensive productivity.

Rajmund Mikuš has recorded a direct goal involvement in his last three Chance Liga matches (2 goals, 1 assist). Mikuš is the only Dukla player this season to record a goal or assist in three consecutive matches. The Slovak midfielder thus represents the main offensive threat for the visiting team.

Saturday's duel in Uherské Hradiště thus promises an interesting confrontation between a home team struggling with finishing and a visiting side experiencing an offensive awakening and aiming for a third consecutive victory.
