SK Dynamo České Budějovice - FK Teplice

Střelecký ostrov Stadium, České Budějovice, Czech Republic

On Saturday, May 17, 2025, SK Dynamo České Budějovice will face FK Teplice in the 34th round of the Chance Liga. The duel between teams with interesting statistical trends promises an exciting battle in the fight for league points.

SK Dynamo České Budějovice have gone 37 Chance Liga matches without a win (8 draws, 29 losses), last winning against Bohemians Praha 1905 in May last year. In this unflattering streak, they have 13 more games than the second team with the most matches without a win - Benešov (24). Teplice are, however, one of six teams that have drawn with Budějovice this season.

FK Teplice are 11 away league matches without a victory (6 draws, 5 losses). Only three times have Teplice had longer away winless streaks in the Chance Liga, the last time being 18 matches between January and November 2021 (4 draws, 14 losses). Teplice have won just two away games in the league this season, with only Budějovice (0) and Pardubice (1) winning fewer.

Conceding the first goal in the Chance Liga is a certainty of loss for České Budějovice, as they have lost 27 consecutive games after conceding the first goal. The closest to such a long losing streak were Bohemians between May 2011 and October 2013 (23) since Opta has been collecting this type of data for the Czech league (from the 2009-10 season).

FK Teplice won their last Chance Liga match against Slovácko 1-0 and have already recorded six such wins this season. Only Baník have more 1-0 wins this season (7), however, Teplice have the highest proportion of such wins, as 60% of their victories were by a 1-0 scoreline.

SK Dynamo České Budějovice recorded an Expected Goals value of just 0.16 in the last Chance Liga matchday against Pardubice. Among all six teams that have experienced an xG value below 0.2 in a single league game this season, České Budějovice are represented most often (4 times).

Saturday's duel at Střelecký ostrov thus promises an interesting confrontation between a home team desperately seeking their first win in almost a year and a visiting side that has significant problems on opponents' grounds but specializes in narrow 1-0 victories.
