Sunday's Chance Liga program will offer a clash of teams with opposing forms. The home team Jablonec is experiencing one of its best seasons in recent years, while Pardubice is fighting for mere survival in the top competition.

The North Bohemians are playing their best season since the 2020-21 season, when they had 17 wins (now 13) and 56 points (currently 45) after the same number of played matches. Jablonec also has a positive goal difference of +20, a value last exceeded in the 2018-19 season (+24). Just like then, they have conceded only 25 goals.

The key to Jablonec's success is a solid defense. The North Bohemians have already recorded 13 clean sheets in this Chance Liga season – only Slavia Praha has more (18). For Jablonec, this is the most since the 2014-15 season (also 13), and overall, they have had more clean sheets at this stage of the season only once – 15 in the 1996-97 season. For goalkeeper Jan Hanuš, this is a record number of clean sheets in his Czech league career.

Although Pardubice has scored four goals in the last two league matches, which is the same number as in the previous 12 duels combined, they still have the fewest points of all their previous seasons at this stage (19; in the 2021-22 season, it was 21). However, in the last league match, the East Bohemians convincingly defeated Bohemians 2-0, significantly improving their prospects for survival.

Pardubice's offensive productivity, however, is not sustainable in the long term. Against Bohemians, they scored two goals from just five shots with an expected goals value (xG) of 1.0. Moreover, Pardubice is the team with the lowest average shots per game in the spring part of this Chance Liga season (7.6) and the lowest cumulative xG value in 2025 (7.4).

The architect of Jablonec's offense is Georgian gem Vakhtang Tchanturishvili. The talented full-back has the most multi-goal involvements in this Chance Liga season (11) – actions in which he was involved in the build-up and also created a chance. Tchanturishvili has been involved in the most build-ups among all full-backs this season (1,104), which demonstrates his importance for Jablonec's play in open play.
